The Basics of a Flower
There are 3 components of a simple flower: the petals, the stem, and the leaf. When all three elements are combined, you can call that artwork a flower. By understanding the basic components of a flower, you can draw any flower of any kind that you want!
One-Line Flowers
There was a trend on Tiktok a while back when artists were posting flowers that they draw on a single stroke. They are really easy to draw and the output is pretty.


Waterlily
Here’s one flower that intimidated me when I was browsing for easy flowers to draw. The lily.

With its many petals and perfect strokes, I didn’t even think to try drawing it. Until I realized there’s an easy way to make it. Here’s how I did it:

With just a few strokes, I made a pretty waterlily and it’s definitely a wonderful addition to your journal!
Tulip
Delicate and pretty.

Daisy
Draw a couple of swirls for the middle part and then add petals as preferred. Then add a stem and a leaf, and you have a daisy!

Poppy
Now this may look a little bit complicated but poppies are just so pretty, I can’t resist drawing them down.
